On our way to ski La Grave from Turgetreis, Turkey where we spent our summer. We hear it is dumping snow!

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008Ptor Spricenieks, professional ski-mountaineer, philosopher, writer, photographer, ranked by Powder mag (Dec 2006) as one of the most influential north american skiers of the past 35 years with more then 50 premiere ski descents over 50 degrees worldwide…, have teamed up with Karin from La Chaumine. It was a special day the 20th of September with beautiful sunny weather with white peaks. Most stunning was the bride Karin of course. Ptor and Karin flew down with paraglider to the ceremony in La Grave skiers right from La Chaumine. Gary and the Crevassholes were great and we all danced all night. Thursday, November 6th, 2008Mountain Guide Martin W Svensson and Lisa Auer are getting married in two weeks in Sweden . . We are very happy for the two K2 skier/climber . . . who met in the mountains guiding. We were wondering why Martin loved staying in mountain huts in Chamonix so much … Now we know! By the way Martin is the guy on the photo to the right, not the one sitting on Lisa’s shoulder. We wish them a very happy marriage. We will celebrate with them when they get back to La Grave since they sneaked of not telling anyone about their plans. I guess Martin W Svensson was scared of the bachelor party. He better be scared for the right reason. See you in La Grave

The Final Countdown . . . Winter is on it’s way
Saturday, November 1st, 2008The summer went past very quick here in Turgetreis, Turkey and our triplet babies grew fast. Here is Selinn taking her first windsurfing lesson trying to follow us into the sea. In the back ground you can see the Greek island of Kalymnos. We hear and see from photos that first big snow fall is hitting La Grave. Guess it is time to pack up and leave Turkey for the French Alpes.
